About Us

Sarah

Sarah is my soon to be wife. She likes reading, traveling and Gilmore Girls. She also makes the best coffee in the world (and I'm not just saying that so she takes on the (essential) coffee making duties in the marriage).

Aymos

Aymos is my soon to be husband. He loves London, a city walk, when Manchester United wins, Formula One and being on time. He also loves eggs for breakfast and thanks to a certain someone - a nice quality flat white.

The Story

Sarah and Aymos met at church in London in the autumn on 2015. They became friendly when Aymos invited her along with a group of Young Adults from the church to watch the Star Wars saga which he was hosting.

After finding out Sarah would be alone on New Year’s Eve thanks to her cousin ditching her, Aymos jokingly asked her to spend it in Paris with him. She surprised him by saying yes, which led to a lot of head scratching on Aymos’s part since he hadn’t thought it through. (Never ask an Australian to do anything slightly adventurous if you’re not prepared to go though with it)

They arranged a trip to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park to avoid being strangers in Paris. This turned out to be their first date. They continued dating around Christmas 2015 (the Force must have been with them and the festivity of the season might have done its part).

They welcomed the new year, 2016 together in Paris. (If you don’t want to get hitched, you might want to avoid doing this)

Nine months later, in September 2016, Amos was certain and so proposed to Sarah at a Greek restaurant in Southbank they both enjoyed. It was quite the fanfare - ask Sarah about it!

In February of 2017 Aymos and Sarah travelled to Australia so he could meet her family and complete the roora with the help of Uncle Jerry and Aunty Kulsum.

The wedding planning began!

Aymos and Sarah will marry on August 31, 2017!
