Coming from abroad

Let's get the obvious things out of the way first, the wedding is in Australia. For some, if not most, that means getting a flight to Australia.

Sydney (Kingsford Smith) Airport is the best and closest one to fly into.

It is an easy train from domestic/international Airport Station to Central Station using Transport Sydney Trains.

You can pick up at the airport or train station an ' Opal Card' and top up with prepaid credit easily.

There are trains twice an hour from Central Station to Central Coast train stations: Woy Woy,  Gosford, Ourimbah Wyong or Warnavale being the main ones.

Once you are actually on 'The Coast' if its within budget a car is genuinely much easier. Buses do run but quite infrequently and sometimes only once an hour.

Arriving by car

If traveling by car from Sydney or Sydney Airport, it will take about 1hr 40mins via the M1.

Most satellite navigations will take you straight to the Ceremony and Reception venues. It is quite a straightforward route.

Vehicles can only be parked in the top public car park. The grounds can then be accessed via the path leading to the lighthouse tower.

Public transport

Coming from Sydney you can take the Central Coast & Newcastle line train from Central Station to Gosford.

You'll then have to get on bus 22 towards The Entrance to Bateau Bay Square, Bay Village, then change to get on bus 29 to Wyong Hospital and get off at CC Hwy bfe Oleander St. The Lighthouse is a 30minute walk from there or 7 minute taxi ride.

It is advisable to stay in Central Coast, ideally in The Entrance, the day before the wedding.
